About
VEIN is a hardcore open-world survival game set in a bleak, infected wasteland where danger doesn’t just come from monsters, but from the environment and other survivors. It focuses on realism and player freedom, dropping you into a world where you have to figure things out without much hand-holding.
Scavenging is a constant part of survival. Food, weapons, and medical supplies are limited, and every decision matters. Fights are risky, whether against infected creatures or other players, and sometimes the smartest move is to avoid conflict entirely. Managing hunger, injuries, and stamina makes the experience feel tense and grounded.
The world is open and unforgiving, with towns, forests, and abandoned buildings that can either save your life or lead you into serious trouble. Weather and time of day also change how safe it is to travel, adding another layer of strategy to every journey.
What makes VEIN stand out is its slow, methodical pace. It’s not about constant action — it’s about patience, awareness, and the quiet fear that something could go wrong at any moment.
