Set on the plague-ridden Isola Sacra, the story follows a Cerim—a holy warrior capable of fighting back the Pestilence—as you are caught between a corrupt church, a rebel uprising, and the horrifying mutations twisting the land. The atmosphere is heavy with dread, focusing on the dark political machinations and the personal cost of trying to save a world that is rotting from the inside out.
The gameplay redefines the top-down action RPG by introducing a high-precision, animation-driven combat system that demands careful timing, parrying, and weight management. Every weapon has its own distinct rhythm and move set, making the choice between a massive two-handed hammer and quick twin daggers a fundamental shift in how you approach the brutal boss fights.
