The game is currently centered on the "Labour of Love" free update and the "Exquisite Pack" DLC, both released in December 2025. These additions introduced major immersion features, including visible pregnancies for players and NPCs, new professional work outfits with set bonuses, and a prestige-focused questline. The DLC specifically added elite cosmetic options like elegant attire, unique hairstyles, and the "Exquisite Sword," a high-tier weapon serving as a symbol of status.
The 2026 gameplay experience is defined by a high degree of village customization introduced in the "Plant a Tree" update. This feature allows players to freely move existing buildings and replant trees using a specialized "Move Mode," facilitating total settlement redesigns without resource loss. Multiplayer on the Oxbow map is a primary focus, supporting 4-player cooperative play with a fully integrated character creator that includes various faces, hairstyles, and facial scars.
