About
Dead by Daylight is an asymmetric horror game where four survivors try to escape while one player takes on the role of a killer. The matches are tense from the start, with survivors sneaking through dark environments to repair generators while constantly listening for signs that the killer is nearby.
What makes the game so gripping is the cat-and-mouse dynamic. Survivors have to work together, distract the killer, and make split-second decisions about when to run or hide. At the same time, the killer player uses unique powers to track, chase, and capture them before they can escape.
Each character comes with different perks, allowing for many playstyles. Some survivors are better at stealth, others at helping teammates, while killers range from slow but powerful hunters to fast, unpredictable threats. Learning maps, mind games, and timing becomes just as important as quick reactions.
